Our Doctors
Dr. Edwin Madera
Dr. Edwin Madera is a dedicated veterinarian and the proud owner of Saint Francis Animal Hospital, which he co-owns with his wife. He is a graduate of Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine, where he received his veterinary training. Dr. Madera’s professional interests are diverse, with a focus on surgery, particularly orthopedic procedures, internal medicine, wellness and proactive care. His approach to veterinary care emphasizes providing high-quality, compassionate services to animals while supporting preventative health measures.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Madera enjoys spending quality time with his wife, and their two sons. He is also passionate about outdoor activities, such as traveling, fishing, and golfing. Dr. Madera’s commitment to both his family and his practice reflects his passion for helping both people and pets live healthier, happier lives.
Dr. Nadine Wright
Dr. Nadine Wright is a compassionate and dedicated veterinarian who graduated from Tuskegee University in 2016. With a special interest in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, preventive medicine, and pain management, she is committed to providing exceptional care for her patients. Dr. Wright is deeply passionate about the veterinary field and balances her professional life with her love for her family and pets. Her expertise and devotion to animal welfare make her a trusted and respected figure in her community.
Dr. Amanda Navas
Dr. Amanda Navas obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University. She joined the Saint Francis Animal Hospital family in July 2024. Outside of her professional work, Dr. Navas enjoys spending quality time with her family and pets, as well as engaging in outdoor activities. Her love for animals and the great outdoors reflects her deep commitment to both her career and personal life.
